David's Story

David is a management consultant. He went self-employed nearly a year ago after his previous company was taken over by a larger organisation and he was made redundant. Fortunately, David was taken back on a six-month freelance contract which has already been renewed once. He is very conscious it may not be extended again and frequently loses sleep over it.

David has no formal marketing training and all he knows he's picked up along the way. His attempts at promoting himself and selling his services have not been great, despite his best efforts. He really hates the idea of finding, qualifying, and having to sell himself to new prospects and would rather hungry buyers came to him.

His full-time commitment to his existing company leaves him little time to engage in any form of real marketing activity, and he's becoming increasingly concerned that his currently income will dry up when his contract ends.

I'm Chris

Chris Kent MSc (Dist.) is the co-founder of the PRISM Business Club. Author, speaker, trainer and a self-confessed techy, Chris has a wealth of marketing, business, and technical experience spanning over 40 years.

He has worked with a wide range of companies from solopreneurs, tech startups and SME's to some of the largest organisations on the planet.

His passion is working with ambitious solopreneurs and small business owners - in particular micro-businesses - who want to make an impact and leave a legacy.

Chris is a leading authority on micro-business marketing and this was the subject of his Master's Disertation in Digital Marketing which he completed in 2015. This was also the inspiration for his first book "21st Century Marketing: What it is, Why it matters, and How to do it".

Tania Jones is the co-founder of the PRISM Business Club. Graduating with a degree in Engineering Tania has extensive experience of working with companies large and small, as well as running her own business for many years.

Her early career focused on business and process consulting working for household names where she developed her love for tech.

Tania was an early adopter of marketing automation which she implemented in her own training business with outstanding success.

Tania is now a sought after marketing automation expert and has been a Keap Certified Partner for many years.

Her passion is helping small business owners demystify and master just enough tech so they can focus on what they do best - And still compete with 'the big boys' without breaking the bank!
